The best way to discover the neighborhood St Blaise is obviously on foot. Walking around will take you to the Church Saint-Germain de Charonne.
Up the street, you will arrive at the Père Lachaise Cemetery.
With your bike (Vélib '), you will enjoy the bois de Vincennes (protected site) with its castle (see photo) and its hippodrome.
Of course, thanks to the very good Parisian transport system, you will be close to any other neighborhood...
And with the line 1 of the subway or line N11 night bus (Noctilien)you will be able to take full advantage of Parisian nights.
These same lines also serve the National Opera of the Bastille & the Centre Georges Pompidou (Museum of modern art).
