Description
For a short (2 nights minimum) or extended break, enjoy your stay in a quiet, spacious apartment in the heart of Aix-en-Provence.
Recently renovated, the comfortable and clean 60m2 apartment sleeps five maximum.
If you arrive by coach from the airport or the TGV station, it’s just a 15 minute walk from the central bus station. There is an allocated parking space for a car in the basement of the building.
The building also has an elevator.
The apartment has a bedroom and a living room, and is equipped with wifi, air conditioning and central heating.
There is a large room with an open plan kitchen and living area, and also a place for you to work on your computer.
The living room has a double sofa bed, a dining table and TV.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with microwave /oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and all you need to cook and feel at home.
A balcony looks out onto trees, making the room very light.
The bedroom has one full size bed and I can easily add a single bed for a fifth person.
The bathroom has a bath and clean towels are available. Toilets are separate.
In less than a two minute walk, you are in the famous old town center and you can easily find a lot of restaurants and terrasses on « le cours Mirabeau » and in the narrow surrounding streets.
I'll be there to welcome you. If you arrive late - I've got two young children so getting away late at night can be difficult - I'll send you a code on your cell phone so you can let yourself in.
You can have a fresh breakfast delivered from 7.30 AM every day.
I'll give you all the information you need to go and visit all around Provence and the south of France, from the French Riviera (Nice, Saint-Tropez) to Avignon or Les Baux de Provence.
I love Aix-en-Provence where we’ve spent the last 12 years. The Provençal architecture is everywhere for you to enjoy in this beautiful city.
Aix has many restaurants and trendy shops.
If you want to get close to nature, you can have a walk in the olive groves or up the Sainte Victoire Mountains.
You can also visit villages in Luberon, or have a walk in « les Calanques de Cassis » along the Mediterranean coast-line, or make the most of the sunshine on wonderful beaches in the Var.
This year, don't forget! Aix en Provence, Arles and Marseille are the European capitals of culture 2013. Therefore, there will be a lot of new exhibitions, and museums with famous French painters like Matisse or Cézanne.
And do you know that Paris is only three hours from Aix by train?
