For any travellers coming by car to Montpellier, this spot is ideal. Free parking all around the appartment and very easy access to town by car or if you prefer to park and take the tram, there is free parking next to the Millenaire tram stop.
Situated right next to the Quartier Port Marianne, you will be a short distance to numerous bars, restaurants, and the Centre Commercial Odysseum for shopping, entertaingment and the Gaumont Cinema. In Port Marianne you can find bikes to rent to cycle the path of the Rive du Lez down to Palavas beach on fresh automn/winter days.
You will have a private courtyard, shared by the residence, to enjoy delicious French wines and al fresco meals (barbecue available) on the cozy spacious balcony, plus the residence pool in the summer is amazing!!
The basics - teas, coffees (Nespresso of course) and breakfast condiments will be available free of charge on arrival, and beds will be made up along with clean towels for your stay. The kitchen is fully equiped for a long term stay with washing machine, dishwasher, oven/hob, microwave, slow cooker, crockery and place settings for up to 6 people.
Chateau Flaugergues is a 5 minute walk away, and Domaine de Verchant a 10 minute walk. Odysseum is perfect for all your shopping and entertainment needs and is just a 2 minutes drive. The space is also perfectly situated to get to the beach in 10 minutes by car, or 5 minutes to reach the centre ville.
As for me, I was living in Montpellier for 4 years and have moved over to London for a new job, thus leaving my beautiful home and city! The bonus is - you can enjoy the amazing city and attractions with my cosy space as a base, that I have left behind :). I do speak French, but English is of course easier! I'm owner of my apartment and my friend will be available to meet you when you arrive to had over the keys and give a quick tour. This woud be ideal as a short term stay for a few months or for anyone who is working seasonally, or is moving to Montpellier. We are situated right across the street from Dell, and in the heart of the IT industrial zone, perfect for contract workers, or an ideal place to get settled while house hunting!
