I’ve sent a booking request, now what do I do ?

When you have sent your booking request, you should give the host 24 hours in which to reply. The host will receive email and text messages informing him that you have requested a booking.

  • If he accepts, you will receive an automated confirmation email with “Booking #xxx confirmed: important information” in the subject line. This email is the booking confirmation and will be accompanied by a second email with the invoice and booking contract. You should read these emails and attachments very carefully as they provide all the important information you will need, in particular the host’s phone number and email address.

  • If, however, the host declines your booking, you will receive an email with “Reservation not possible” in the subject line. You will then have to send a new request to another host. Of course, your account will not be debited. For more information, please read the section What happens if a host does not accept my booking request ?

If no answer is given by the host within 24 hours, the booking request is automatically declined.
