What is the difference between the buttons “Book It”, “Check availability”, “Contact Me” and “Make an Offer” ?

“Book It” button
This button only appear on accommodations with Instant Booking. When you click on the “Book It” button, you are making a booking on the specific accommodation of a host. To do this, you will have to authorize the payment of the full rental fee.
the booking being instant, you will receive an immediate confirmation after the booking.

“Check availability” button
This button only appear on accommodations that doesn't have Instant Booking. When you click on the « Check availability » button, you send an availability request to the host. This function simply allows you to make sure the accommodation is available on your dates and to ask the host any questions you may have.
Since this does not involve any commitment by either party (guest or host) in case of acceptance, you can therefore make several requests, after which you can proceed to your booking with a higher probability that it will be accepted.
 
Please note that any availability request, even if accepted, is not considered to be a firm booking. You have made no payment and no booking contract has been generated.
 
We recommend that you first make several availability request on any number of accommodations you may be interested in and then proceed to the booking among those whose availability has been confirmed.

“Make an Offer” button
When you click on the orange “Make an Offer” button, you have the option to ask the host if he will accept a lower rate than the one posted on MorningCroissant. If you make an offer, the host is free to accept your offer or not, or to make a counter-offer with an intermediate price. If your offer is accepted you can book the accommodation by clicking on the “Book” button that appears in the window of the conversation between you and the host.
Please note that this option is not available for all accommodations as the host may deactivate it if he does not wish to negotiate the price.
 
“Contact Me” button
When you click on the blue « Contact Me » button, you can send a message to the host with an automatic availability request. This function simply allows you to contact the host to make sure the accommodation is available on your dates and to ask him any questions you may have.
Since this does not involve any commitment by either party (guest or host) in case of acceptance, you can therefore make several requests, after which you can proceed to your booking with a higher probability that it will be accepted.
